Jetting Off to Winnipeg

Buffalo Sabres have now gone 10 road games without a win and 153 minutes since someone other then captain Jason Pominville has scored a goal.  In the last 16 games, the Sabres have only scored 33 goals while giving up 58 goals to opponents.  Fortunately for Buffalo, tonight's opponent, the Winnipeg Jets, have been struggling lately as well with only 1 win in the last 5 games.

The Sabres may be able to come up with a win tonight as the MTS Center hasn't been as difficult to win in as it was in the beginning of the season.  The Jets have actually dropped 2 games in a row at home but still maintain a 14-8-1 record there.  Its just a matter of time before the Sabres break this loosing streak; its just a question of who other then Pominville will step up to make it happen.

It will be the Sabres first trip to Winnipeg since the Atlanta Thrashers moved up there this year.  Will playing in front of a passionate hockey crowd inspire Buffalo to turn it around?  Fans will hope and see when the puck drops at 8:30 p.m. ET.
